Coolant distribution pipe resealing is among the most common repairs on Porsche models because most people do not see any symptoms of coolant dripping onto their garage floors. The seal that is failing is located above the center of the engine, and the coolant puddles on top of the engine between the cylinders.
Always have a Porsche mechanic at Triple C check your cooling system during each routine maintenance, especially if you notice a musty smell coming from your engine. Many cooling systems begin to break down because of excessive heat and pressure.
When you take your Porsche to a shop that is not specialized in servicing the vehicles, then mechanics may be at risk of overfilling oil and possibly causing engine smoke. The good news is that you do not need a complete rebuild but just some better care from Triple C.
